Opportunity:
In 2001 we were presented with an assignment. Refine the Loomis Communities’ logo creating a more dynamic and more easily reproducible mark. We successfully completed the assignment. Fast forward to April of 2009. The refined logo was once again at the center of an assignment. Only this time we were asked to create a branding system that would encompass three retirement communities with the possibility of adding a fourth community. Loomis management wanted to acquire Reeds Landing but the decision was out of its hands. In the next several months a bankruptcy judge would select a new owner. Loomis was determined to have a new brand structure in place in the event that efforts were successful. It would be necessary to launch a marketing program immediately upon taking ownership.
